On 8–11 August 2022 the 30th Congress of Nordic Historians will be held in Gothenburg, Sweden. The main theme is ‘Global and local’ and the keynote speakers are Professor Maya Jasanoff, Harvard University (USA) and Professor Poul Holm, Trinity College Dublin (Ireland). We are now inviting proposals for individual papers, thematic sessions and roundtable discussions about the conference theme or any other topic related to Nordic history or research by Nordic historians.
Abstracts should be submitted in Danish, Norwegian, Swedish or English no later than 1 February 2022. Nominate books for the Nordic History Book Award 2022:
Authors and publishers are invited to nominate books for the Nordic History Book Award 2022. The winner will be invited to attend the Congress of Nordis Historians in Gothenburg, where the award will be presented at the conference dinner on 9 August.
